Sweet dreams Lola my precious « Thread Started on Jul 29, 2006, 9:05am »
My beautiful Lola-May passed away last Sunday. I went out to my shed first thing to discover her not being able to get up, she had a massive fit then passed away with me comforting her. Too say I am upset is an understatement. You always have one that's extra special and she was mine. She reminds me so much of Missy, her expressions and actions are identical and it is now like loosing Missy all over again. I only had the pleasure of having Lola for 9 weeks. Lola was only just a year old, she deserved a longer life but it obviously wasn't to be. Since I adopted her she has always been very quiet and has not put on weight well so there was obviously something not right, yesterday night she wasn't using her front leg well I don't know what she had done, so this morning I went to check on her leg and saw what I never hope to see again. I am devastated. Sweet dreams my beautiful Lola-May, you were my special girl. I will look after Tilly and Ruby for you and I will never forgot your beauty.

Rachel, my heart goes out to you. I am so sorry you have lost your Lola, especially before her time. I know how I felt when Prince was taken at just 2 years... somehow it hurts more doesn't it? I can also sympathise with the shock and pain of finding them yourself... again adding to the heartbreak. Thinking of your Rachel.
Good night Lola, you were a lovely lady and I know you had a lovely life with your Mummy and all your pals. Run free with all the other piggys at the bridge, and say hello to Spam for me.
