Hi Laine, I don't know if you've been able to read my email yet, you must be so busy at the moment! It was just to say that I have two spare hutches you can have for the rescued piggies. I'm afraid I can't get them to you though as I have no transport at the moment (explained in the email!). I'm afraid I can't take any more on at the moment though, my piggy room is full to bursting. If you need any help sorting out the piggies once they've been caught, with bathing, feeding, sorting out houses etc I could help out this weekend or next week perhaps. I'll give you a ring about it before the weekend. In case you don't remember me I adopted Fudge (now Jas) from you the other month. Liz Liz

Hi I have just again been liaising with RSPCA - they have put the traps (I hate that word!) down yesterday and are going again later. Yesterday they found some hutches and put many pigs in them with bedding - so we know some are safe away from predators.
The owner of the pigs had turned up again and is refusing to contact the RSPCA, hopefully they will see sense soon. The RSPCA are trying to gain access again to the premises to take them away from the owner!!!
Hopefully we should have them with us very soon.....
Thanks again for all your help and support - I will be mailing people who have offered help ie hutches, bathing fostering etc as soon as I have pigs with me
Very sorry for all the messing about - but its turning out to be quite eventfull
Laine/Nick

Hi Sorry for the delay in keeping you all updated, basically I still have not heard much..the inspector i was dealing with has gone on holiday for 2 weeks and the other inspectors have been very shy with information, therefore I phoned the inspector who was on holiday and she has promised to phone me back as soon as she knows anything. Iam so sorry this isnt better news but as soon as i have any positive news I will let you all know. For those who have offered help - thank you so much and I will take up all your kind offers as soon as I have more news
Thanks all again for your time and efforts

Does this mean they could still be roaming free? If they are still alive that is. Its cruel weather and there are cats, roads... it doesn't bare thinking about. Why did nobody go around as soon as they knew they were there? The whole thing sounds like such a shambles. Whoever is responsible should be ashamed. Hope they are safe and I am totally wrong here.

I guess the fact that there has been no news is a bad sign! Poor pigs! Toria x

I was hoping for a happy ending here. I can't believe those poor piggies have been left to freeze to death because nobody could get their act together. If anyone knows anything please can they let us know. Thanks Wendy.
