Bah. Squeaky has a fungal skin infection. His hair is coming out in clumps and he reeaally would rather you didn't touch him. So I have washed all 4 of my boars with Nizoral and ordered the Neem Oil soak from www.gorgeousguineas.co.uk (I spoke to Chrissie too and she is lovely). Unfortunately it seems Harrison (my Rex) has a patch of it too. So I am not a happy bunny. I'm really hoping Kevin and Tango can escape this but they are going to have to have daily checks too. See, just as I was thinking that I've had no problems in a while... Oh well Pip and the boys (edited for appalling use of an apostrophe from a primary school teacher )

Sorry to hear this news Pip, lets hope its in the early stages and you can see it off. I;m sure Chrssie has given you lots of advice. As you know it can be hard work and, as far as i understand get worsebefore it gets better. To avoid passing it to the other pigs you will need to wash your hands with dettol or animal disinfectant like pet virkon or Troigene and change clothes. But I think the spores are airborne too. So its likely they will have been exosed so best to treat them too. Keep us posted on this... and good luck.
