Just wanted to add a little note in here to mark the passing of my most precious little man. For those of you that don't know Spam died last night... I came home to find him very ill with a dirty bottom & lack of mobility, crying with pain. He died while I was trying to sort out what to do. It was a great shock. He was at least 4 year old... still very young really... and had been ery full of life earlier in the day. Spam- I know I will miss you everyday of my life. I loved the way that when I sat at the computer desk with you on my lap and my feet up you would wander down my legs and sprawl right out over me under that table.... and the way you would nibble my nose (and chin if I said ow to the nose!) and if I set you on my chest... and nibble my finger just to see what it tasted like. I will miss your wheeking punctuating the day... and nobody gets even half as excited as you did at meal times! I will miss the joy of you running around the living room on your floor time, your bum taking sometime to catch up with the rest of your body. I will even miss the nibble marks in my school work from when it was on the floor when you were! The first day i saw you I thought you were the most gorgeous pig I ever saw! Those huge eyes! I was so proud of the way you got on with first Prince, then Bubba. I really hope that you are somewhere else now, with Prince, and that I will see you again one day. I hope that place is as nice as you deserve. Thankyou for two years of happiness and love. You were truely a little ray of sunshine- so friendly to everyone who knew you... pigs and people. I hope you enjoyed spending the rest of your life here as much as we enjoyed having you. And thank you for the beautiful beautiful pictures. I will treasure them always and look fondly upon you whenever I am sad, just as I held you in life when I needed comfort. Sleep tight my beautiful angel love forever Mummy xxxx

Dear Susie, I have emailed you, but could not let this wonderful tribute pass without comment. This was the first website I visited as a new Boar owner. Your lovely boys where the first I came to know besides my own. I am so very very sad at the loss of first Prince and now Spam. I know that these lovely boys could not have wished for a better home then the one you gave them. Take care Susie and as always you know where I am if you need me. Love from Wendy xxx

Thank you so much Rachel and Wendy. Wendy I did get your mail and your message here and in it was lovely. I am finding it very hard. Spam was a very big character and I am truely heartbroken at his passing. Though I know he was at least 4, I did expect he might be around for a good time yet. But sadly not.
I do understand what you mean about being sad for him, I have shed many a tear for other peoples pigs who we have shared a journey with.
I don't know what I want to do personally here at home to remember Prince and Spam yet. But I'd like to do something. It might be something as simple as a special picture... I don't know yet. When my website is transfered onto my new machine I will make sure I mark this sad event accordingly on there too. These boys were the inspiration for it all after all.
I always knew I wouldn't have them forever... when I decided to adopted older piggys rather than go for babies I knew time would be one thing I would sacrifice but to loose both my first and most precious boys before I expected is very hard.
I think with Spam especially he will be a hard act for any pig to follow. I have 3 other very special pigs in Bubba, Hugo and Rainbow but no other piggy could come close to Spam in my esteem. He didn't really know he was a guinea pig. He never even strutted at another pig and I always thought of him as my baby. I think its a true crime that there are no baby Spams out there to carry on his special magic!
He was amazing. Its hard to believe I'm never going to see him again.
Hugs to my loyal friends. XXXXXX. It means allot.

oh Susie just logged on after not being on for ages (still getting used to my MS diagnosis and not felt too well) anyway, and saw you have now lost little Spam, I am so very sorry, I too have recently lost some of my special pigs domino and pheonix along with poppy and squeak last autumn so know you must be feeling so empty inside, just think of the memorys you have got helped along by the great photos you have taken of them all with spam, although you never got any baby spams you've got his ways and memorys in your heart, I do have a baby domino in Harvey and he is now all the more special because he does have his dads way, I've also got dominos and pheonix siblings which is a great help any6way god bless spam and thinking of you Susie sorry not been around much lately

Susie, I wasn't around when Spam died and thought it was too late to post when I finally turned up but I keep seeing this post and just need to say how sad I am that you lost Spam. You may recall that my son Lewis had his eye on Spam before you got him but I was looking for a sow (same old story). It was however definitely a case of my loss and your gain. RIP Spam you were a very special piggy.
