Hello I am hoping to adopt a couple of piggies in the next month or so. What size hutch would be best? Can they have a double or triple hutch with a run attached,or do they have problems using the ramps? Any help would be much appreciated Rebecca

Hi Rebecca, The bigger the better (looking thru' books for info. ) For 2 guineas the hutch should be 3 - 4ft across and 18" - 2ft from front to back and 16 - 20 " high. I have a 2 storey hutch with a linking ladder/ramp and it doesn't cause my boys any probs-i've learnt they're quite the gymnasts ;D Here's a pic of mine Top floor is approx 5.5 ft long, 22" deep and 20" high. Extensions are same but 3ft long Bottom floor (as above) but approx 18" high I hope this helps Niki & The Boys x

hi Rebecca, will they be indoor guineas? If so check out www.cavycages.com these really are the best cages around. So versitile. I have had LOADS of cage changes but this will be my last as these beat anything around, if you need more/less space you just unclip & adjust. If you are in the UK you can get the grids from argos & correx/coroplast from sign makers. If they are outdoor remember if you are in the UK you need to have somewhere to fetch them inside in the hottest part of summer and in the winter months. Good luck!
