I have two little boys in a 2 by 4 grid cage together, and I REALLY would like to make it bigger. I am not sure if my parents are going for it, though. I have explained to them exactly how I will make it bigger, and when it is done, it will be 3 times larger than the 2 by 4, and will fit in the limmited amount of space they are giving me. The thing I have not explained to them is WHY i want to make it bigger! (lol. I think you know!) I want to have my mom drive me to a shelter for my birthday to adopt one more pigger! here is a diagram of what I want the cage to turn out like... i25.photobucket.com/albums/c84/rungurl7892/cavydreamcage.jpg

wow your cage idea sounds fabulous. Your boys will love the extra space... however 3 boys is not a good idea. Boar relationships are fragile at the best of times and my advice would be that adding a third pig could upset the established pair you have... which might lead to fighting and possibly even 3 seperate boars who can't be kept together anymore. I know how tempting it is to have another piggy... they are so addictive. But unless you have room & pernission for another cage I think you are best to wait. Take a look at this page on trios to help you decide www.susieandpigs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/trios.htm
